World Autism Awareness Day
2 April 2026 — Every mind is different — and every mind matters.
The UN marks 2 April as World Autism Awareness Day. Autism is a developmental condition that shows up differently in every person — hence the word spectrum. The day calls for acceptance, inclusion and support: access to early diagnosis, to continuous therapy and education, and respect for autistic people and for the families and specialists who stand by them every day.
