International Day of Persons with Disabilities
3 December 2026 — The world is better when it is for everyone.
The UN marks 3 December as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The aim is for society to see persons with disabilities as full participants — at school, at work, in culture and in the decisions that affect them. The day is a reminder of accessible environments, the right to support, and the work of the families, assistants and specialists without whom inclusion stays only words.
