Questions and bridges

Can You Trust an AI Horoscope?

Partly. Planetary positions can be calculated accurately when good ephemerides (tables of celestial positions) are used, but interpretation is a cultural tradition, not a forecast. Treat an AI horoscope as food for reflection, not as guidance for big decisions.

Short answer

You can trust the calculated part if it rests on verifiable data, and treat the interpretation as inspiration. An AI horoscope is not a prediction and does not replace a professional for health, money or legal matters.

What can be checked

The positions of the Sun, Moon and planets at a given minute are a matter of astronomy. They come from ephemerides, such as those produced by JPL (NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory). If an app shows a sign that disagrees with a calculation for your date, time and place in the same zodiac system, something is off. See Ephemerides and accuracy and Calculation versus narrative.

Where AI can slip

Language models sometimes “hallucinate”: they state something wrong with confidence. A model that guesses positions instead of computing them is not reliable. See AI hallucinations.

What interpretation is

In the astrological tradition, planets and signs carry symbolic meaning. Scientific tests have not shown that celestial bodies determine life events. A good text therefore says “tradition associates…” and leaves the choice to you. See Astronomy vs astrology.

Questions and answers

Can AI predict my future?

No. It can show where the planets are, if it relies on real astronomical calculations, and retell what the tradition says, but it cannot know the future. A reading is a prompt for reflection.

How do I know if an AI horoscope is accurate?

Compare the positions with a reliable ephemeris for your date, time and place. If they match, the calculation is sound; the interpretation remains a matter of tradition and personal feeling.
